Identify the covering before discussing fixings
The Almondsbury appraisal describes double-roman and pantile clay roofs, some slate, and differing pitches among historic buildings. These are local examples, not a specification for every house. Tell the assessor what is known about your covering and ask them to inspect where the material or condition is uncertain.
